Matcha latte with golden milk
This exquisite drink provides the anti-inflammatory benefits of turmeric and coconut oil. Plus, you'll benefit from the antioxidants in matcha powder. Ingredients
- 1 1/2 tsp. tsp (7 ml) matcha powder (Camellia Sinensis)
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) boiling water
- 1 1/2 cup (375 ml) coconut milk (Cha's)
- 1 C. tbsp (15 ml) coconut oil
- 2 tbsp. teaspoon (10 ml) of Golden Milk with turmeric (Botanica)
- 1/2 tsp. teaspoon (2 ml) vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp. teaspoon (10 ml) honey
- Toasted coconut flakes
- Black pepper
Preparation
Whisk matcha powder into boiling water until smooth. To book.
In a small saucepan, heat the milk and coconut oil. While whisking, add the Golden Milk, matcha mixture, vanilla and honey. Bring to a boil. Transfer to a small blender and blend until frothy. Pour into warmed cups. Sprinkle with toasted coconut and black pepper. Serve at boiling point.
