Chocolate bites
In these chocolate bites, all the elements come together for a perfect school snack!
It includes complete plant proteins to sustain you until the next meal, lipids for lasting energy, carbohydrates to fuel the brain and… chocolate!
This no-cook recipe makes about 20 small balls, but make more and freeze them!

Ingredients
- 1 cup Sunbutter sunflower seed butter (substitute with any nut butter or peanut butter if you don't have allergies)
- 1 cup Enjoy Life mini chocolate chips
- 1 serving Garden of Life Raw Organic Protein Powder in Vanilla (for a more nutritious version, substitute Garden of Life All-In-One Protein Powder in Vanilla )
- ¼ cup crushed hemp seeds
- ¾ cup oatmeal
- ½ tsp. teaspoon cinnamon
Preparation
- In a bowl, combine the sunflower seed butter, 3/4 cup chocolate chips, protein powder, crushed hemp seeds and 1/4 cup oatmeal. The mixture must be homogeneous.
- The mixture will be sticky. Place in the fridge for about an hour to make it easier to make the bites.
- In another bowl, mix the remaining oats and chocolate chips and add the cinnamon.
- Once the hour of refrigeration is complete, roll the dough using a small spoon. Sprinkle them with the mixture of oats, chocolate chips and cinnamon.
- Place the chocolate bites in an airtight container in the freezer. Will keep for about a month.
