Moringa is a superfood with numerous health benefits. It provides calcium, vitamin A, potassium, chlorophyll, iron and protein. Mint, on the other hand, will bring a pleasant and invigorating freshness. To tie it all together, nothing but a delicious chocolate shell!
Ingredients to prepare the plant-based mint and moringa treats recipe
Cream filling
- ¼ cup coconut cream
- ¼ cup deodorize coconut oil, melted
- 1 cup coconut butter
- 1 tsp pepper mint extract
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- 3 tsp moringa powder
- 1 tsp matcha coconut blend
Chocolate shell
- ¼ cup cacao butter, melted
- ¼ cup coconut oil
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 tbsp maple syrup
- 2 tbsp cacao paste
- 2 tbsp cacao powder
- Matcha coconut blend to sprinkle
Steps to prepare the plant-based mint and moringa treats recipe
For best results, make sure all ingredients are at room temperature. If they are too hard, reheat them in a saucepan and let them cool until slightly softened.
Cream filling
Combine all ingredients except coconut butter. Mix together.
Add coconut butter and continue mixing.
Quickly shape small balls with hands and place on a cooking sheet.
Freeze until hardened, about 20 minutes.
Chocolate coating
Combine all ingredients and mix well.
Dip the cream filling in the chocolate and roll in matcha coconut blend. Place on the baking sheet.
Freeze until hardened, about 20 minutes.
Store in the fridge until ready to serve.
