Ingredients for the homemade pizza
For the pizza crust
- 2 cups organic Tipo ʺ00ʺ pizza flour
- 4 tsp golden cane sugar
- 1 tsp instant pizza yeast
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 cup warm water
- 1/4 cup olive oil
For the pizza sauce
- 1 cup tomato coulis
- 2 tbsp basil pesto
- 2 tsp rosemary
- 2 tbsp onion powder
- 1 garlic clove, crushed
- 1 tbsp italien parsley, chopped
Instructions for the homemade pizza
Preheat oven at 450°F.
For the pizza crust
In a bowl, combine the flour, sugar, yeast and salt. Make a well and add the water. Stir with a wooden spoon.
Knead for 5 minutes on a floured surface. When the dough is smooth, form a ball and roll the dough. Generously brush a baking sheet with oil. Place the dough on the baking sheet.
For the pizza sauce
In a bowl, combine the tomato sauce with the pesto, rosemary, onion powder, Italian parsley and the garlic. Set a side.
Assemble the pizza
Roll the edges of the pizza dough inwards to create the crust. Brush the dough with olive oil. Add the sauce and toppings of your choice. Cook for 15 minutes.
