Fall Spice Latte
Of all the lattes, I believe the fall spice latte (or pumpkin spice latte ) is among the most popular. Unfortunately, many recipes, whether prepared at home or in a cafe, contain a lot of sugar. Yes, it's good in the mouth, but less so in the rest of the body!
The keto alternative!
So I offer you this fall spice latte recipe, ketogenic version. It does not contain sugar and it contains 10 grams of MCT powder.
On to the recipe!
Ingredients
Makes 2 slats
- 1 1/2 cup unsweetened cashew drink
- 1 cup of brewed coffee (preferably strong)
- 8 tbsp. pumpkin puree
- 2 servings of Garden of Life Dr. Formulated MCT Powder
- 1/2 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
- 1/2 tsp. teaspoon vanilla extract
- To taste, a natural sweetener ( stevia , erythritol , Monk fruit , xylitol )
Preparation
Over low heat, heat the vegetable drink, pumpkin puree, MCT powder, sweetening ingredient, spices and vanilla extract. Do not boil.
Pour into 2 cups and add the brewed coffee.
Top with whipped cream and pumpkin pie spice. Enjoy!
