Oat and berry plant-based waffle recipe
For your quick weekday breakfasts before work or for a heartier meal on weekend mornings, we offer you this oat and berry plant-based waffle recipe. Made with Seta's delicious raspberry acai smoothie mix, these waffles are packed with protein, fiber, vitamins and minerals.
Makes 6 to 8 waffles
Ingredients for the oat and berry plant-based waffle recipe
Dry ingredients
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1 cup quick oats
- 1/4 cup SETA Acai Raspberry Smoothie Mix
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
Wet ingredients
- 1 1/2 cup plant-based drink
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 tablespoons canola oil
Toppings to taste
- Fresh berries
- Vanilla plant-based yogurt
- Granola
- Maple syrup
- Edible flowers and fresh mint
Preparation for the oat and berry plant-based waffle recipe
Preheat your waffle iron.
In a bowl, combine all the dry foods and set aside.
In a measuring cup, add the plant-based drink, then the vanilla and oil, mix well.
Pour wet mixture into dry ingredients. Stir to obtain a homogeneous paste.
Cook the mixture in your waffle iron as directed by the manufacturer. Oil the plates with a brush if necessary.
Add the toppings and serve.

Note
Waffles can be frozen once they have cooled. Pull out of freezer 30 minutes in advance and warm them up in the toaster!
