Plant-based queso dipping sauce recipe

Ingredients for the plant-based queso dipping sauce recipe
- 1/2 cup raw cashews
- 1 cup vegetable broth
- 1/2 cup nutritional yeast
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp turmeric
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp hot sauce (optional)
- Pepper to taste
Preparation for plant-based queso dipping sauce recipe
Soak the cashews in boiling water for 30 minutes.
When the cashews are ready, place them in a blender with the rest of the ingredients. Mix until very smooth texture.
Place the mixture in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Turn off the heat and leave the pan for another 2 minutes, stirring constantly, to allow the mixture to thicken.
Serve warm with your favorite corn chips!
Optional: garnish with chopped green onions.
