Granola with collagen
Want to add collagen to your daily life? Excellent idea, especially if you are over 30! Collagen is beneficial for the health of hair, skin, nails, muscles, tendons, joints, etc.
At the moment, the trend is for collagen in coffee. But maybe you don't consume coffee. Maybe you just don't want to add it to your coffee. Personally, nothing but good coffee goes into my cup of coffee! This is why I present to you this recipe for granola with collagen. One part each morning and you're set for the day!

Ingredients
For 7 servings
- 3 cups of oatmeal
- 1/3 cup melted coconut oil
- 1/3 cup maple syrup
- ½ to 1 cup unsweetened shredded coconut
- 1-2 servings of Unflavored Bovine Collagen Peptides or Multi-Source Collagen with Turmeric
- 1 C. teaspoon cinnamon (and/or other spices of your choice)
- Nuts and seeds of your choice, for example
- 1 C. chia seeds
- 1 C. sesame seeds
- ½ cup pumpkin seeds
- ½ cup each almonds , Brazil nuts and cashews
Preparation
Mix together the oats, coconut oil and maple syrup.
Add remaining ingredients.
Spread on a cookie sheet covered with parchment paper. Bake at 325°F for about 20 minutes, taking care to mix halfway through cooking.
Enjoy with a smoothie bowl, some yogurt or fresh fruit.
Keeps up to a week in the fridge.
