Chicken fajitas recipe
Ingredients for the Chicken Fajitas recipe
- 500 g chicken breasts
- 1 yellow bell pepper
- 1 green bell pepper
- 1 onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 2 tbsp. olive oil
- 1 tbsp. chili powder
- 1 tsp. cumin
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp. dried oregano
- Juice of one lemon
- Tortillas
- Salt and pepper to taste

Preparations for Chicken Fajitas recipe
Cut chicken breasts into strips.
Mince peppers and onion.
In a large bowl, combine olive oil, chili powder, cumin, paprika, oregano, lemon juice, minced garlic, salt and pepper.
Add chicken strips to bowl and toss to coat chicken with marinade. Let stand for 30 minutes.
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add marinated chicken and cook for about 5-7 minutes, until golden brown.
Add the peppers and onion to the pan and continue cooking for about 5 minutes, until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
Heat tortillas according to package instructions.
Top each tortilla with chicken and vegetable mixture.
