Plant-based chocolate spread recipe

- 1/4 cup pitted dates
- 1 cup cooked chickpeas
- 2 tbsp almond butter
- 2 tbsp cocoa
- 2 tbsp water
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- A pinch of salt

In a bowl, cover the dates with boiling water and soak for 5 minutes. Drain.
Place the dates in a food processor with the remaining ingredients, then reduce them to a smooth, homogeneous puree.
Enjoy on toast at breakfast or with fresh fruit (strawberries, bananas, kiwi, etc.) as a healthy snack!
Can be stored for 4 to 5 days in the refrigerator.
